Kerry Ann Chappell is a contemporary abstract artist based in the North East of England. Working through layered surfaces, colour, and recurring circular forms, her paintings explore memory, emotion, and cycles of return. She uses texture, gesture, and physical mark making to create works that hold traces of process and the body.

Chappell graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the University of Sunderland and is a current artist scholar on The Auxiliary’s New Graduate Award. Her work has been shown at the Sunderland Creatives Gallery at the Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art.
